Privacy Policy
Last updated:
1. Scope and language
This Privacy Policy applies to the Space Racer LLC website at myspaceracer.com and to any personal information provided to us through that site. It is written for a U.S. audience and works alongside our Terms of Service, which govern the use of the site and any purchase made through it. By using our site, submitting a form, or placing an order, you confirm that you accept the practices described here.
2. Data we collect
When you submit our contact form we receive the information you provide directly — your name, email address, the content of your message, and the technical metadata our infrastructure attaches to the request (timestamp, IP address, and user-agent) for spam and abuse prevention. When you place an order through our Stripe checkout we receive payment metadata — your name, email, billing address, the last four digits of the payment method, the transaction identifier, and the order total. We never receive or store full card numbers; those are handled entirely by Stripe. We do not place advertising pixels, marketing trackers, or cross-site identifiers on this site, and we do not collect advertising IDs from your device.
3. How we use your data
We use the data we collect to fulfill your order, process your payment, ship your goods, respond to inquiries and customer-support requests, prevent fraud, and keep the records we are required to keep by tax and accounting law. We do not build a profile of you for marketing, we do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not subject your data to automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Lawful basis
We process your information as reasonably necessary to provide the site and our products, fulfill orders, process payments, prevent fraud, and respond to requests. Where we ask for consent for a nonessential use, you may withdraw it at any time. We also retain records as required for tax, accounting, and anti-money-laundering purposes.
5. Retention windows
Contact-form inquiries are retained only as long as needed to respond and for a short operational window afterward, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Order records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law. Payment and transaction records are held for the period required by Stripe's own retention schedule and by the anti-fraud and financial-record rules that apply to us. Where data is held solely on the basis of consent, it is deleted on withdrawal of that consent.
6. Third-party processors
We share data with a small number of processors, each of which receives only the data needed to perform its role and is bound by its own data-handling terms. Stripe processes payments and holds the associated transaction records on our behalf. Cloudflare provides the network and storage layer used by parts of our infrastructure, including proxy and object-storage services. Polsia hosts the site itself and operates the platform on which the site runs. Other than these processors, we do not share your data with third parties except where required by law.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, request deletion where appropriate, or request limits on or object to certain uses. To exercise any rights available to you, or to ask a question about how your information is handled, please email us at myspaceracer@polsia.app. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we discover that we have received data from a person under 16, we will delete it as soon as we can. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can act promptly.
9. Cookies
We take a minimal-cookies stance. The site sets only those cookies that are strictly necessary to operate it — for example session and security cookies and any cookies required for load-balancing across our hosting infrastructure. We do not set analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any cross-site tracking cookies. You can control or delete cookies through your browser at any time.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our processors, or in the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date and, where appropriate, by a notice on our home page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
